Spoilers are just below here. They are more or less soon to be facts. Rumours can be found near the bottom of the page, and they are not true, just stuff I have heard. However, they may be true, as I found them somewhere and so they must have a little truth in them. DON'T go down if you don't wanna be spoiled, enjoy:P

General Season 5
-In season 5 the episodes are supposed to be more scooby-orriented, that includes everyone. Episodes are also supposed to show much more of Xander, Giles, and Joyce this seaon, as many feel they were left out of season 4. Confirmed
-A new character, Dawn, has been added to the cast and is being portrayed by Michelle Trachtenberg. (Harriet the Spy & Inspector Gadget) Dawn will be 10-14 and have a crush on Xander. Dawn has said to be introduced at the end of the 1st episode as Buffy’s little sister and have a “Superstar” effect on the Scoobies, i.e. they all think she has always been there. Confirmed
-The Scooby gang may be moving out of the dorm into a house this season, which means Xander, Tara, and Riley all come with, too.
-Riley has been confirmed to be leaving the show after 11 episodes, after the breakup, Buffy will go into I-Don’t-Need-A-Guy phase. E! Online's Watch With Wanda Confimed
-Giles may also be getting his watcher job back, and Buffy may once again be the official slayer, which may cause a trip to London to meet the Watcher’s Concil.
-Giles might lose his house, this season, then hook it up with Joyce again and move in.

General Season 2
Gunn is a series regular. Angel, Cordelia and Wesley will all continue to be series regulars this season.
According to David Greenwalt's (Executive Producer) comments in Teen People, Cordelia will get more involved in the battle aspects of the job and Wesley may be finds fame.
Angel's past will be a big part of this season. He will be forced to confront it, accept it, and learn from it.
Reunion
This is going to be the 10th episode of the season and will air on December 19, 2000. No other information yet.
REBORN ( Angel (David Boreanaz) goes on a frantic search after Drusilla (guest star Juliet Landau) turns Darla (guest star Julie Benz) back into a vampire, and he must catch them before she rises again and the two go back to their old ways and paint the town red. Meanwhile, as Angel goes off the deep end, his staff worries they are the only ones standing between Angel and real darkness. Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof and J. August Richards also star. James A. Contner directed the episode written by Tim Minear & Shawn Ryan.
Drusilla keeps Angel away long enough for Darla to complete the transfermation into a vampire. Fearing the worst, Angel Investigations prepare for the future.
After reawakening as a vampire, Darla angrily approaches Drusilla for answers. Eventually though, Darla accepts the situation and the two go out to paint L.A. red.
Wolfram and Hart are fooled into thinking that they're in control of the situation. They underestimate the power of the two vampires and assume that they can be controlled.

Rumours

Juliet Landau reprises the role of Drusilla once again. She comes to town looking for Spike, who she spots helping Buffy and it doesn't sit well.
Buffy dreams that Spike gets dusted and wakes up screaming his name, covering with Riley by telling him that she dreamt Spike was attacking her. Riley doesn't like all the time Buffy's spending with Spike (Riley gets hurt in a prior episode and can't patrol so Spike takes his place). Buffy and Riley spend most of the ep arguing over whether Spike is an animal or a friend.
Ben comes to the Magick shop and reveals that Glory is his sister is a demi-god who will become the most powerful creature in the world if they don't keep the key away from her. The key unlocks the door to her world but unlocking it would mean that the Earth would see it's last sunrise and plunge into despair.
Buffy and Spike go to the warehouse to look for Glory and Drusilla follows them. Buffy and Spike split up and agree to meet back in a few minutes. Dru shoots a cross bow type weapon and it hits Buffy in the arm and a struggle ensues. Spike hears the screams and comes running. Dru is about to bash Buffy's head in but Spike won't let her. Dru faces him and in front of Buffy, tells him that she can smell the stink of his love for the Slayer. Buffy is stunned and Spike tells Dru she shouldn't have come. She lunges for Buffy and Spike stakes her! Folks, I don't know how true this is but whoa!!!
Buffy is leery about going to Spike, who is staring at the ashes on the ground but she tries to comfort him. He turns to face her, she says nothing but just hugs him and he hugs her back. The gang walks in on them and thinks they were kissing. Riley freaks out and lunges at Spike who can't fight back because of the chip. Buffy steps in between them and Riley tells her that he won't tolerate Spike in their lives anymore. She tells him that maybe her life isn't his and has never been big enough for him at all causing him to storm out. After she takes care of Spike's cuts, she goes looking for Riley where she finds his room ransacked and a note saying "You never loved me." Graham helps Riley with his bags at the airport.
Buffy goes to see Spike and finds him holding a porcelain doll. He tells her it was Dru's. Buffy tells him that she knows what it's like to have killed the person you love. He tells her he didn't kill the person he loves. Buffy doesn't say anything but she doesn't leave either.

Rumours (they may not be true, just a rumour!!)
Buffy dies at the end of season 5. Causes of death include decapitation, cancer, being turned into a vamp and being dusted, being in a car accident, and dying at the hands of a powerful demon (among other things). Damn, people! Do you WANT her dead?! Sheesh...However I don't think this is true as the Buffy the vampire slayer is going to continue for at least seven seasons. Well, this is when their contracts go on untill.
Rumours continue to run rampant that Angel and Buffy get back together indefinitely. Apparently, some specific incident with Riley makes Buffy face up to the fact that she never wants anyone but Angel, and whatever Riley does makes her realise that Angel was wrong to leave Sunnydale. Who knows. It's been many a Buffy & Angel fan's wish since they parted at the end of season 3, and fuelled further by "I Will Remember You" when Angel became human. I guess only time will tell...
Contrary to an earlier rumour, an article of an interview with Heath Ledger had him saying that he would not accept a part on "Buffy" if he was asked!! WOOPS!
Check THIS out!! -- a rather solid rumour flying around is that Angel's soul is not a permanent deal!! According to my sources, something about the way Willow performed the Curse in "Becoming - Part II" has made Angel's soul be returned to him INDEFINITELY!!! =)
Apparently, there's going to be an episode where the gang is propelled into the future. Buffy will be much older, she'll have a job and she'll be married!
